Johnny Burnette, Jr

Johnny Wayne “John John” Burnette, Jr., of Hwy. 200, Midland, passed away March 28, 2010. Johnny was born October 21, 1974, in Cabarrus County to Johnny Wayne Burnette, Sr. and Patsy McIntyre Shelley. He was a mechanic for Sunbelt Farms. He enjoyed camping and racing. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 – 8:00, Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The funeral service will be Wednesday, 2:00, in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Dr. Darrell Nance. The family will meet at the home of his father, Johnny, 7764 Bertha Lane, Stanfield. Survivors include his father and mother; sisters, Betty Burnette Brown of Albemarle, Patty Ann Burnette of Conway, Cheryl Lucy Burnette of Stanfield; son, Maxie Alonzo Decoff of Alabama; grandmother, Miner Lancaster of Stanfield; step-mother, Lisa Burnette of Stanfield; two nephews and three nieces.
