Johnny Carpenter

Johnny Cecil Carpenter, 76, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle.

Mr.Carpenter was born January 12, 1942 to the late George Cecil and Aldara Huneycutt Carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Caudle Carpenter and brothers, Boyce Lee and Bobby Carpenter.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Friday, January 11, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 am, located at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Joe Smith. Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory, 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Survivors include: sons, Rodney Carpenter and wife Bessie, Johnny Carpenter, Jr; grandchildren, Rodney, Ashley, Stephanie, Cody, Matt; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Cole, Judy Johnson, Frances McKenney.
