Johnny Davis

Johnny Keith Davis, 60 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Novant Health Medical Center in Matthews.

Mr. Davis was born October 20, 1955 in Las Vegas, Nevada to the late James Allen Keith Davis and the late Grace Jane Davis. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Davis.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM at New Life Church, 157 Browns Hill Road in Locust officiated by Pastor Brandon Bowers.

Survivors include wife of 24 years, Debra Jean Davis of the home; sons, Chris Davis and wife, Mary of Las Vegas, NV, and John Davis of Oakboro; daughters, Andrea Cook and husband, William of Las Vegas, NV, Stephanie Stock and husband, Shane Laswell of Las Vegas, NV and Michelle Stock of Oakboro; and nine grandchildren.

Johnny loved all types of car racing, his trucks, spending time in the mountains and living in North Carolina. He was also a man of great faith.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Davis family.
