Johnny Edwards

Johnny Lamar Edwards, 74 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 surrounded by family.

Johnny was born March 7, 1942 in Stanly County to the late Delma Clay Edwards and the late Dorothy Marie Edwards Coxton.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Monday at 3:00 pm at Stanly Gardens of Memory in Albemarle and will officiated by Rev. David Howard.

Survivors include two daughters, Erika (Phillip) Howard of Albemarle, and daughter, Tomeka (Jimmy) Steen of Albemarle; sister, Pansy (Gene) Dennis of Albemarle; four grandchildren, Lisa Howard, PJ Howard, Keltsi Steen, and Karli Steen; four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Hannah, Judson, and Seth; and nephew, Danny Dennis.
