Jonathan Blake

Jonathan David Blake, age 44 of Albemarle, passed away on October 29, 2011 at his home. The family will receive friends at North Albemarle Baptist Church on Thursday, November 3 from 1pm until 2 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm, officiated by Pastor Brad Lynch. Mr. Blake was born in Cabarrus County on June 16, 1967, to the late Roy Foust and Rilda “Diane” Burris Furr. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Saundra Diane Blake. He is survived by his stepson, Daniel Yarborough of Oakboro; stepdaughter, April Stephens of Oakboro; brothers, Paul Blake of IL, Timothy Blake of Lillington, NC, Earl Furr and Jason Furr both of Albemarle; sisters, Susan Furr, Joyce Furr, Deloris Lambert, Bonnie Johnson, Crystal Kendall, Ashlyn Furr and Amber Furr, all of Albemarle; and 2 grandchildren.
