Jonathan Sapp

Jonathan Michael “Goose” Sapp, 28, of Concord, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at CMC-NorthEast. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 6 until 8 pm. The funeral service will be held at Providence Baptist Church 5315 Hwy 49 South, Harrisburg on Saturday, March 2nd at 2 pm, with Rev. Allen Thompson and Rev. Meredith Marlin officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Harrisburg. Jonathan was born on January 14, 1985 in Lexington, NC. Jonathan graduated from First Assembly Christian School in 2003, and attended UNCC. He loved spending time with friends and family. He enjoyed cooking and reading and listening to music, being outdoors and hunting with papa Jack. He was a fire fighter with Harrisburg Fire Department and an EMT with Cabarrus County. He received the Medal of Valor as a member of Harrisburg Fire Department. He was a loving son and a wonderful brother. He is survived by his mother, Melinda Williams Rule and step-father, Jack Rule; father, Robert Michael Sapp; brother, Jared Sapp; grandparents, Virginia Ruth Orr, James R. Williams and Helen F. Williams; great-grandmother, Virginia Ruth Williams; uncle, Jimmy Williams; aunt, Kimberly Gilson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.    Memorials may be made to The Bald for Goose Trust Fund for Jonathan Sapp, account #61151851 to State Employee Credit Union PO Box 1146 Harrisburg, NC 28075.
