Josie Caudle

Josie Tarlton Caudle, 87, of Concord, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis. She was born on July 11, 1923 in Union County to the late Noah Gilbert and Miranda Jane Braswell Tarlton. She is preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers. Josie was a member of Wilmar Park Baptist Church and a retired associate from JC Penny department store. She was also employed by Belk department store and enjoyed to crochet. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 28, 2011 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord from 10:00 until 10:45 am. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 am with Rev. Ray Rippy officiating. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home. She is survived by her son James "Jimmy" Caudle and wife, Linda, of Concord; sister, Bea Morrison, of Concord; and granddaughter, Amber Caudle.
