Joyce Bost

Joyce Louise Bost, age 65 of 315 S. Second Street, Albemarle, NC passed away on February 22, 2010 at CMC Northeast in Concord. Born in Landis, NC on October 11, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Richard Allen Britt and the late Elizabeth Lizzy Mae Clark Britt. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Britt. She is survived by her husband, Melvin Bost; daughter, Teresa Lowder and husband Conrad of Albemarle; brother Allen Britt of Albemarle; sister, Carolyn Lowder and husband Alfred of Albemarle grandchildren; Crystal, Marsha, April, Jonathan, and Mark and great grandchildren; Zachary, Madison Joyce, Tyler, Hunter, Jasmine, Logan, Bradley, and Bryana. She was a homemaker and a member of Hill Street Church of God. She loved the church and was loved by all who knew her. The family will meet at the home of her daughter, Teresa Lowder, 921 Lowder Street, Albemarle. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 25 from 6 to 8 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. Funeral service will be Friday at 2 PM with a 30 minute state at Hill Street Church of God, 632 Hill Street, Albemarle. Rev. Thomas Andrufski will officiate. Memorial may be made to Hill Street Church of God, in lieu of flowers, PO Box 69, Albemarle, NC 28002.
