Joyce Clark

Mrs. Joyce Arlene Shoe Clark, 72, of 37 Sumner Avenue NW, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at St. Andrews Living Center. She was born on October 25, 1937 in Cabarrus County to the late Willie James and Ethel Bost Shoe. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 1:30 until 3:00 pm. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel with Rev. Edward Pigg and Rev. Marvin Honeycutt officiating. Interment will be at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family meeting place will be the home. Joyce was a graduate of Odell High School. She was a retired canteen vendor with PillowTex. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Charlie James Clark, of the home; sons, Roy Bradley Harrington and wife, Lynette Mechelle and Randy Wilson Harrington, all of Concord; step son, Roger Clark and wife, Carol, of Concord; grandson, Bradley Wade Harrington; granddaughter, Aprell Marie Bentley; and step grandchildren, Erica Brook and Derek Sean Clark.
