Joyce Mclaurin

Joyce Ann Furr McLaurin, 58, of Midland, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Ms. McLaurin was born February 12, 1955 in Cabarrus County to Annie Lucille Everhart Furr, of Midland, and the late Ralph Alexander “Buck” Furr. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2013. Service will be at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland Chapel and the burial will follow at First Baptist Church of Midland, 4720 Garmon Mill Road, Midland, NC, 28107. Survivors include her son, Ricky Glover and his wife, Jamie, of Stanfield; her daughter, Layra McLaurin of Albemarle; her son, “John Boy” McLaurin, Jr. of Midland; her ex-husband, David McLaurin, Sr.; her brothers, Lee Furr and his wife, Joyce, of Oakboro, Billy Furr and his wife, Sherry, of Stanfield, Danny Joe Furr and his wife, Mattie, of Concord, and Fran Furr Hollaway of Kannapolis; and seven grandchildren.
