Joyce Vance

Joyce Woody Vance, age 77, of Stanfield, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.

Joyce was born April 7, 1937 in North Carolina to the late Russell Benjamin Woody and the late Mary Belle Woody.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, Friday, July 11, 2014 at Big Lick Baptist Church, 626 Big Lick Road in Oakboro. The funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary at 3:00 pm officiated by Rev. Jeff Springer. The burial will be in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bobby Ray Vance of Stanfield; son, Allen "Scott" Vance and wife Kristin of Stanfield; and brother, Marvin Woody and wife Mary Lou of Spruce Pine.
