Judi Curlee

Judi Ruth Nelson Curlee, 58 years of age, of Mint Hill, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Presbyterian Hospital Main in Charlotte.

Judi was born February 1, 1957 in Seattle, Washington to the late Donald Lesley Nelson and the late Wyona Avanel Nelson. She was also preceded in death by sister, Donna Nolte.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service officiated by Pastor Millie Snyder will follow at 11:00 AM in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, 13575 Broadway Avenue, Midland, NC 28107. The burial will be in the Oakboro Cemetery, 1397 North Main Street in Oakboro, for the family.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Ronald William Curlee of Mint Hill; daughter, Sarah N. Curlee of Nashville, TN; son, Danny A. Curlee and wife Sarah Liz of Charleston, SC; step-son, Matthew L. Curlee and wife Sara Donna of St. Paul, MN; grandson, Hudson Curlee of St. Paul, MN; brother, Norm Nelson of Seattle, WA; and sister, Linda Walsh of Everett, WA.

Judi worked as a programmer for CISTECH in Matthews. She enjoyed crafting, especially making cards.
