Judith Shenda

Judith Ann Coughtry Shenda, 67, of Concord, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center - Northeast. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Thursday, May 31, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Marty Payton and Rev. Ron Bushey, will follow in the Hartsell funeral Home chapel at 7:00 p.m. Judith was born on April 29, 1945, to the late David Laird Coughtry and the late Virginia Eggleston Coughtry. She is survived by her husband, Jan Michael Shenda; two daughters, Ruth Katharine Duncan of Hopewell, VA and Wendy Brodhead of Northern, VA; two stepdaughters, Dawn Shenda Booth of Concord and Kimberly Ann Shenda of Uniondale, NY, two granddaughters, Rachael Katharine Russo and Abagail Dawn Russo; two sisters, Diana Coughtry Shiflett and Sandy Coughtry Davis, both of Waxhaw; a brother, David Laird Coughtry, II of Waxhaw; three step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
