Judy Dry

Judy Helms  Dry, 76, of Locust, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Mrs. Dry was born December 30, 1943 in Stanly County to the late Clinton Adam Helms and the late Emma Austin Helms. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Helms.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM, Monday, January 6, 2020 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel  officiated by Rev. Jerry Simmons. Entombment will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Survivors include husband of 61 years, George Wilson Dry, III of Locust, daughters, Renda (Tim) McGirt of Mt. Pleasant and Rena Dry of Albemarle; son, George Dry, IV of Locust; grandchildren, Amanda Lyerly and DeAnna Taylor; great-grandchildren, Klarissa Lyerly, Clinton Lyerly, and Abigail Kosinski; and brother, Billy Joe Helms.
