Juette Brooks

Juette Drye Brooks, of Marshville, passed away peacefully Monday, March 1, 2021.

Mrs. Brooks was born July 8, 1923 in North Carolina to the late Charley Phylus Drye and Kittie Idabelle Drye.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Melvin Keith Brooks.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by her daughters, Barbara Brooks Morgan (Danny) and Linda Brooks McClary, Grandchildren; Chris and Anne Morgan and their son, Charlie of Charlotte, NC; Daniel and Carolina Morgan and their children, Keith, Caroline, and Lucia of Sterling, Virginia; Jacalyn and Brantley White and their sons: Brantley, Jr, Charlie, and Lewis of Greensboro, NC; Carla McClary and Clay Burch and their daughter, Campbell of Indian Trail, NC; Lauren and Charlie Henry and their children, Brice, Brooks, and Taylor of Marshville, NC; sisters-in-law Joyce Philemon and Mary Greene, both of Marshville, NC; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Dawn McClain.

The graveside service will be on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 11:00 am at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery in Stanfield, 12568 Philadelphia Church Road, Stanfield.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to donor’s choice.
