Julia Ann Motley, 50 years of age, of Concord, went to be in God's hands on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Heaven gained a strong angel that day.
Julie was born June 24, 1966 in Concord, NC to Ruby Rachel Thomas and her late husband Ray Aubry Thomas.
Survivors include her mother, Ruby Rachel Thomas; son Jonathan Helms and wife Megan; son Adam Motley; son Steven Motley and wife Joanna; seven grandchildren; brother Scotty Simpson; and sister Barbara Clay.
Julie is in God's hands now, and no man of earth will bring a tear to her eyes again. She loved her many dogs and cats. More than anything in the world, Julie loved her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later time.
