June Fink

June Marie Lefler Fink, 94, of Concord, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020.

June was born July 9, 1925 in Cabarrus County to the late Walter Theodore Lefler and the late Mary Bell Canup Lefler.  She was also preceded in death by beloved husband, William Sheron Fink and 9 siblings.

June retired from Cannon Mills after 45 years.  She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church, Concord.  She always enjoyed cooking, quilting and crocheting.  June was a loving mother and grandmother.  She will be forever loved and greatly missed.

Survivors include son, William Earl (Lou Ann) Fink of Mt. Pleasant; daughter, Shelby (Kenneth) Forrest of Concord; daughter, Mary (Mickey) Kinley of Davidson; sister, Etta West of Concord; Margaret Oldham of Bear Creek; brother, David Lefler of Concord; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Monday, January 20, 2020 at Sharon Baptist Church, Concord.  The funeral service will be follow at 2:00 pm, officiated by Rev. James Strickland.  Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
