June Flowe

June Flowe, 85, died peacefully on September 2, 2018 at the Hospice and Community Care in Rock Hill, SC. She had previously lived at Morningside Assisted Living Facility in Concord, NC.

June was born on August 18, 1933 to Sadie Black Flowe and Henry Vernon Flowe. A life long member of the Midland community she graduated from Bethel School in the class of 1951. June enjoyed many lasting friendships with her classmates. After attending Kings Business College she worked for Southern Bell Telephone for more than 30 years. June will be remembered for her kind and caring ways as she unselfishly cared for family members.

Survivors include a beloved great niece, Mandy Flowe (Kathy) of York, SC, a sister, Ann Morris (Roy) of Charlotte,NC, niece, Laura Morris Harding of Dallas, TX, and a nephew, Charles Morris (Gena) of Charlotte, NC. She also leaves behind a four-legged "son", Jessie.

June was predeceased by her sister, Sarah; brother, Johnny; nephew, Eddie Flowe; niece, Leta Morris Withers, and a dear friend, Boyd Black.

A service to celebrate June's life will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 2:00pm, at Bethel United Methodist Church, Midland. The family will receive friends after the service in the Fellowship Hall. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
