June Carter Isenhour, 79 years of age, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Avante in Concord.
June was born May 1, 1936 in Cabarrus County , North Carolina to the late Crawford Odell " Doodle" Carter and Novella Mae Carter. She was also preceded in death by her son, Rodney Joe "Dink" Isenhour; two sisters, Shelby Seamone and Carolyn Lambert.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:30 am, Monday January 25, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will begin at 11:30 am in Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel and officiated by Rev.Tom Whidden. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, John Wayne Isenhour; her son, Tony & wife, Cynthia Isenhour of Concord; her three grandsons, Matthew, Greg and Cody Isenhour.
June worked at A & A realty and for the Board of Elections in Cabarrus County. She was a member of Concord First Assembly.
