Junior Love

Junior “Martin” Love, 76 years of age of Stanfield, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 1:45am at his residence. He had courageously fought Alzheimer’s for the past ten years. Martin was born on February 28, 1938 in Stanly County to the late Addie Kiser Love and Dewey Love. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Patty Louise Baucom Love. Martin is survived by his daughter, Nancy Claridge and husband Don of Sarasota, FL; son, Keith Love and wife Beverly of Stanfield; daughter, Amy Dutton of Stanfield; grandchildren, Lauren Claridge of Greenville, SC, Brittany Love and Chandler Love both of Charlotte, Kelsey Dutton of Stanfield, NC; brother Lee Love of Stanfield and sisters Betty Reeder of Rockwell, NC and Louise Baxley of Middleburg, Fl. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Don Ingle will be at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, March 11, 2014 following a 30 minute state at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
