Justin Burgess

Justin "Hardrock" Ray Burgess, 41, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Justin was born March 9, 1981 in North Carolina to Daniel Ray Burgess and Tanya Williams Burgess.
He was also preceded in death by grandparents, Bill and Carolyn Williams and Willie R. Burgess.

The family will receive friends at Prospect Baptist Church of Albemarle in the Family Life Center, from 11:30am to 1pm on Tuesday 13th of December.  A celebration of life service will follow the visitation.

Justin was a 99' graduate of Albemarle High School.  He was an avid sportsman and played football and baseball all 4 years of high school.  Justin was a member of the 1998 NC Shrine Bowl team.  Some of his favorite pastimes included fishing and hunting, but his love and passion was building and setting cabinets.

Survivors include mother, Tanya Williams Burgess; father, Daniel Ray Burgess; brother, Cameron D. Burgess; fiancée, Tina Dennis; grandmother, Esther W. Burgess; and also several close aunts, uncles, and cousins.
