Justin Hartsell

Justin “Little G” Michael Hartsell, age 17, of 9050 Reed Mine Road, Midland, NC, passed away on August 29, 2011 at his home. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland on Friday, September 2, 2011 from 6pm until 8pm. At other times, the family will be at his home. The funeral service will be on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 2pm at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Gary Morris, Pastor Tim Clark and Pastor Duane Ivey. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Wesleyan Church Cemetery, Georgeville, NC. Justin was born in Cabarrus County on October 14, 1993, to Larry Edwin Hartsell and Deloris Sue Hartsell. He is preceded in death by a sister, Lauren Michelle Hartsell and his maternal grandmother, Sonya Burns. Justin was a senior at Central Cabarrus High School. He was passionate about skateboarding and playing the guitar. He aspired to be a professional skateboarder. Justin loved helping people. He was loved by his family and friends, and meant the world to them. He is survived by his parents, Larry Hartsell and Deloris Hartsell; sisters, Kaitlyn and Courtney Hartsell of the home; brother; Brandon Hartsell of the home; paternal grandparents, Edward and Frances Hartsell of Georgeville, NC; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
