JW Morgan, age 81, of Stanfield, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Indian Hill Presbyterian Church with Rev. Rick Brundin officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Morgan was born on February 13, 1930 to the late Tice T. Morgan and the late Clara Lucille McQuirt Furr. He was also preceded in death by his sister Peggy Jean Bright. He is survived by his sons, Jeff Morgan of Stanfield, Mike Morgan and wife Londa of Stanfield; daughters, Brinda Teeter and husband Nicky of Stanfield, Mindy Turner and husband Trent of Stanfield; brothers, LD Morgan of Stanfield, Lee Ollen Morgan of Stanfield; grandchildren, Scott, Greyson, Natitia, Graham, Melisa, Dusty, Brandon and 6 great grandchildren.
