Karen Petrea

Karen Elizabeth Petrea, 53 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at her home.

Karen was born March 7, 1962 in Wilson, NC. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Walker and grandmother, Leona Lamm.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. A memorial service officiated by Rev. Jerry Ingle will follow at 1:00 PM in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel.

Survivors include husband, Darryl Scott Petrea of Oakboro; daughter, Elizabeth Michelle Bass and fiance Jeremy Smith of Stanfield; step-son, Scotty Petrea and wife Brittany of Winston Salem; father, Cliff Walker of Henderson; and grandsons, Sawyer and Reid Smith.
