Karen Wehman

Karen Waddell Cole Wehman, 50 years of age, of New London, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at CMC - NorthEast in Concord.

Karen was born May 4, 1963 in Forsyth County to the late James Waddell, Jr. and Barbara Waddell. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Swift Cole, Sr.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, February 17, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service officiated by Pastor Brad Coley will be at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at the New London Cemetery, 248 East Depot Street, New London.

In addition to her mother, Barbara Waddell of Salisbury, she is survived by her husband, Richard "Skip" Wehman of New London; sons, Robert Swift (Chelsea) Cole Jr. of New London, Matthew Cole of Concord and Cameron Cole of New London; daughters, Katherine Elizabeth Cole of New London and Kimberly Anne McMillian of Winston Salem; sisters, Laura Elliott, Amy Bogle and Gwen Pfeifer; grandson, Trajan Harris-Cole; granddaughters, Alyssa McMillian, Shyla Simms and Alaysia Simms.
