Karla Kostkas

Karla Ann Kostkas, 57, of Indian Trail, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018.

Karla was born July 19, 1961 in Franklin, Pennsylvania to Richard Aylesworth and Ruth Ida Carner.  She was also preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Ellen and Otto Carner, and paternal grandparents, Ralph and Mary Aylesworth.

Karla was a bright light to all.  She would do anything for everyone and she never met a stranger.  Karla loved all people and held a special place in her heart for all animals.  She loved God and enjoyed being a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Karla is survived by daughter, Kristen and husband, Blaine Clark of the home; step-dad, Hile "Butch" Maines; brother, Richard Aylesworth; sister, Kristine Briggs; and niece, Sarah and husband, Anthony Mundis.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 3, 2018 at 6:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Midland, officiated by Rev. Homer Murdock.  The family will receive friends following the service.
