Katherine Bright

Kathy Denise Bright, 42 years of age, of Kannapolis, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord. Kathy was born November 23, 1971 in North Carolina to James Boyd Hudson Sr. and the late Gearldine Juanita Hudson . The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Monday, June 30, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Monday at 3:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord officiated by Dr. Ronnie Simpson . Survivors include husband Dwayne Bright , daughter, Taylor Basinger and husband Randy of Kannapolis, NC, son, Tyler Bright of Kannapolis, NC, father, James Boyd Hudson Sr. of Kannapolis, NC, brother, Marvin Hudson and wife Lisa of China Grove, brother, James Hudson Jr. and wife April of Kannapolis, NC, sister, Penny Yarborough and husband Joey of Concord, NC. Nine nieces and two nephews and two great nieces and one great nephew Kathy was a member of Bright Light Baptist Church in Concord. She loved spending time with her family and going fishing and her favorite pet "Bootsie" the kitten. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Bright family.
