Katherine Minick

Katherine Pauline Teeter Minick, 94, formerly of Harris Street, Concord, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at The Oaks at Town Center, Harrisburg. She was born on March 27, 1916 in Iredell County to the late Charles June and Mamie Blondella Allen Teeter. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 12:30 until 1:30 pm. A graveside service will be held at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, following the visitation at 2:00 pm. She is preceded in death by her husband, Erin Boyd Minick; son, Ben Rummage; and a grandson, Gary Charles Rummage. She is survived by her granddaughter, Katherine Rummage Black, of Groveland, FL; nieces, Joann Harris and Doris Hinson, both of Concord; two great granddaughters, Megan and Sara Black; and a nephew, Kenneth Teeter, of Corinth, MS. Katherine retired as a waitress from Bridges Bar b que in Shelby. She formerly served in the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion.
