Kathleen Davis

Kathleen Teresa Davis, 90 years of age, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. She was born February 23, 1924 in North Dakota to the late John Carpenter and the late Marie Capenter. Ms. Davis was a charter member of the Motor Maids of America. She bought her first motorcycle, a Harley Davidson, when she was 19 years old, and has ridden over 500,000 documented miles on Harleys. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm at Rocky River Presbyterian Church, in Concord officiated by Rev. Eleanor Norman. Burial will follow at the Rocky River Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Survivors include son, David Lovendahl of Harrisburg, NC, and 3 grandsons. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Davis family.
