Kathleen Mills

Kathleen Louise Mills, 45 years of age, of Concord, NC passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.

Ms. Mills was born September 25, 1969 in Montour Falls, NY to the late David Durand Mills and Marianne Helen Scully. She was also preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Helen Ford, paternal grandmother Nancy Schotzman, niece Alexandra Brown, and cousin Brian Ford.

Kathleen was a veteran of the US Navy. She attended the University of California at Davis. Majoring in psychology and biology. She was a loving mother, grandmother and treasured her family.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until 3:00pm, Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm in the chapel officiated by Rev. Richard Little.

In addition to her mother, Marianne Helen Scully and husband Charles of Concord she is also survived by daughter, Kelly Mills of CA; three sons, Hayden Rhodes, US Army, Savannah, GA, Trevor Mills of Concord and Keegan Mills of Concord; four grandchildren, Tristan, Madelyn, Raidan and Zephyr; brother, Dennis Mills of CT; sister, Pamela Lenoci and husband Tom of VT; nephew, Quintin Lenoci and Cheryl Common of CA; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
