Kathleen Orefice

Kathleen Ruth Orefice, 57, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 8:40 am.

Kathy was born January 9, 1962 in New York to the late George and Suzanne Fjellman.  She was also preceded in death by sister, Teresa Cohen; and brother-in-law, George Herzman.

Kathy was a devoted wife and loving mother. Her husband and children were her life. She was a parishioner at St. James Catholic Church where she was a catechist, preparing 2nd graders for their First Holy Communion.  Another passion of Kathy's was being involved in her daughters' dance  program at Miss Donna's School of Dancing.  She and her husband made lifelong friends there during their daughters' time at the school.

Survivors include beloved husband of 27 years, Tony Orefice; son, Anthony Jr.; daughters, Annalisa and Katrina; sisters, Sue (David) Allikas, Wendi Herzman, and Judy Fjellman; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm, and Thursday, July 11th, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, 460 Branchview Drive NE, Concord, NC 28025.  A funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 12th at 1:00 pm at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 139 Manor Ave. SW, Concord, officiated by Father Charles Donovan.  Burial will follow at the St. James The Greater Catholic Church Cemetery, 2323 Gold Hill Rd., Concord.
