Kathleen Marie Elizabeth Penberthy, 73 years of age, of Concord went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 1, 2016. She was loved and adored so much.
Kathleen was the most caring, loving, beautiful person, and she touched everyone's heart that was able to have met her. She was an angel, a blessing to her family and friends, and will be missed very much.
The family is having a private funeral service officiated by Pastor Jim White.
Survivors include husband, Jerry Penberthy; daughter, Vicki Barrett and husband, Randy; daughter, Julie Yow; and son, Scott Penberthy and wife Shelby; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; as well as sister-in-law, Sharon Turner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979.
