Kathleen Sides

Kathleen Andrews Sides, 81 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at her home. Kathleen was born May 25, 1932 in Albemarle to the late Fred Andrews and the late Maude E. Bowers Andrews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie F. Sides; daughters, Annette Brklacich and Sybil Simpson Linker; and brothers, Martin Pennington, Golden Pennington, , and Oswald "Babe" Crowell. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service will be follow at 2:00 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Ron Honeycutt officiating. The burial will be at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery following the service. At other times, the family will be meeting at her home. She is survived by her son, Eric Simpson of Albemarle; daughter, Renae Buller of Albemarle; grandchildren, Brian Lowder, Jacob King, Wynter Simpson, all of Albemarle, William Kelly Russell of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Tina Russell Black of Nashville, TN; great grandchildren, Skyler Black of Nashville, TN and William Kelly Russell, II of Raleigh; sister, Jeanette Eudy of Millingport; and brother, Marshall "Bub" Andrews of Albemarle.
