Kathryn Bryan

Kathryn Jackson Bryan, 75, passed away on August 14, 2021 in Kannapolis, NC.

She was born on August 29, 1945 to Leslie and Essie Jackson in Rocky Mount, NC.  Kathryn worked as an Analyst for the State Bureau of Investigation for many years and lastly retired from the Cabarrus County District Attorney’s Office.  She was a gifted organist and pianist. She played for many churches in the area and most commonly First Baptist Church in Concord NC.  In her free time she would be found planting beautiful flowers and enjoying the fresh air of the outdoors.  She will be remembered for her love for Jesus Christ, her devotion and dedication to her family, and her strong will.   Kathryn will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathryn is survived by loving daughter, Tracey Walker of Concord, NC son in law Eric Walker Of Concord NC;. Granddaughter Katie Walker, grandson Bryan Walker.

She was preceded in death by mother, Essie Jackson, father, Leslie Norman Jackson.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021, 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021, 1:00 pm at the Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, Concord, NC, with Blake Jackson officiating.

Burial will take place in the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis.
