Kathryn Kirkley

Kathryn “Kitty” Purser Kirkley, 63, of Mint Hill, NC, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010, in Presbyterian Hospital, Matthews, NC. Mrs. Kirkley was born November 21, 1946, in Stanly County, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kirkley; father, Erskine Hargrove Purser; and mother, Virginia Chapman Purser. She was a member of First Street United Methodist Church and was self employed as a travel agent. The visitation will be Monday, Oct. 11, 11:00 – 12:00 noon. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 in the Hartsell Funeral Home Lefler Memorial Chapel, Rev. Jeff Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Survivors include her brothers, Capt. Ron Purser and wife, Debbie, of Blacksburg, SC, and Billy Purser of Holden Beach, NC.
