Kay Blosser

Kay Kennedy Blosser, 77, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Atrium Health NorthEast in Concord.

Mrs. Blosser was born January 18, 1942 in Stanly County to the late William Daniel Kennedy and the late Mary Margaret Thompson Kennedy. She was preceded by her sister-in-law, Sherry Kennedy.

Kay was a dance instructor and worked at Fred Astaire Dance Studio. She had a great love for animals, especially her horses and dogs. Kay was fun loving and loved her family very much.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM, Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Mineral Springs Baptist Church, at 4694 NC -205 in Oakboro. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary officiated by Rev. Kinney Wallace. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.

Survivors include daughter, Kristi Short and husband Trent of Concord; grandson, Zack Gardner of Concord; brother, William Don Kennedy of Columbia, SC; and nieces, Jenny Baxley and husband Davis, and Leigh Montague.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hartsell Funeral Home.
