Kay Morgan

Kay Frances Purser Morgan, 78 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015, at her home.

Kay was born April 4, 1936 in Stanly County to the late Tom N. Purser and the late Beulah Lenora Purser. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Thomas Morgan; daughter, Tina Morgan Hall; twin daughters, Melinda Jane & Belinda Jean Morgan; and brother, Kenneth Purser, Sr.

The funeral service will be on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Red Cross Baptist Church in Oakboro, officiated by Chip Alsobrooks. There will be a 30 minute state preceding the service. Burial will follow at the Oakboro Cemetery, 1397 North Main Street, Oakboro.

Survivors include son, Jackie Morgan; son-in-law, John Hall; grandsons, Levi & Gauge Hall; and a special friend, Doug Huneycutt, all of Oakboro.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County and The Uwharrie, 960 North First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
