K'Daya Lin Fuller

December 4, 1976 — September 29, 2024

Charlotte

K’Daya Lin Fuller, 47, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC, due to a severe car accident. She was born on December 4. 1976, on Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, WA, to Charles Douglas Fuller and Lanice Leslie Rogers.

K’Daya graduated from Cordova Senior High School in Rancho Cordova, CA. She was a frequent flyer and loved to visit her family in New York. When K’Daya moved back to New York, she joined Pyramid Temple #45 of the Improved Benevolent Protective Order of Elks in New Rochelle, where her oldest sister, Kivu, aunt, Gail, and cousins, Lenora and Florence, are members. One of her favorite things to do was to attend events and help with fundraisers. She then moved to Charlotte, NC, where she became a Daughter of Isabelle F. Hyder Temple #1279, where she was currently the financial secretary. She also was a member of her council Antler Guard and a member of Special People Project. K’Daya was the 2nd runner-up Queen of the NC state.

K’daya was full of life and lived it to the fullest. She believed you only live once, and therefore, you should live it how you want to. Her smile was infectious, and we cannot forget those red lips and killer heels to match. She will be missed by many and loved by all. Above all, she loved her kids more than anything.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Lindberg Fuller and Robert Rogers; grandmother, Harriet Bernice Landrine; and her youngest son, and twin, Malachi Zamir Fuller.

She leaves to mourn, her sons, K’Von Isaiah-Shakur Thompson (VA), Kamal Sincere Turner (TX), Khalid-Rashad Demetris Hall (NC), K’Zaiah Khalil Hall (NV), Major Reese Fuller (NC); her only daughter, Kiyah Kivu Lakhim Fuller Thomas (NC); father, Charles Douglas Fuller (Raffaela) (Italy); mother, Lanice Leslie Strother (CA); grandmother, Frances Mae Fuller (NY); sisters, Kivu Lakhim Fuller (Darryl) (NY) and Zahara Lani Alexander (Her favorite brother-in-law, Gilbert II) (GA); brother, Rashad Jahi Strother (NY); aunt, Gail Fuller Martin (NC); uncle, John Dennis Fuller (NY); nieces, Aiasha Lanique McGlothen (Tiffany) (NC), Kiana La’Nae Stallworth (NY); nephews, JaVonte Richard Robert McGlothen (NY), Ke’Shaun Larry Stallworth (NY), Elijah Noel Brown (NY), Jakobi Gilbert Alexander, Gilbert Alexander III, Zion Christian Alexander, and Aiden John Alexander (all of GA); cousins, Gennera Lin Martin (NC), Genique Toni Martin (NY), Noelle Frances Fuller (CA); and a host of cousins.
