Keith Dixon

Keith Lamar Dixon, age 79 of 29 Cedar Street, Badin, North Carolina 28009, passed away on December 3, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Funeral services for Mr. Dixon will be held 4:00 PM, Monday, December 6, 2010 at Badin Baptist Church the Rev. Dan Abernathy will officiate. The family will receive friends after the service in the church Fellowship Hall. Burial will be a Silver Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Dixon was born in Stanly County on December 15, 1930 to the late Hobert McKinley and Phronnie Elmira Morton Dixon, he was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Ivy Burleson and one brother, Thomas Edward Dixon. He was a painter for Peck Painting Co. and an avid gardener and fisherman. Mr. Dixon is survived by his two daughters, Livia Burleson of Badin, and Koni Dixon- French of Charlotte; one sister, Ruby Peck of Albemarle; grandchildren, Adrian Ragsdale, Brandon Burleson, Adam Burleson and six great grandchildren Memorials may be made to: Badin Baptist Church, 28 Falls Road, Badin NC 28009
