Keith Efird

Keith Efird, 79 years of age, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at his home in Albemarle.

Keith was born July 31, 1935 in Stanly County to the late Grady Boyd Efird and the late Maude Lomax Efird. He was also preceded in death by wife, Clara Jeanette Efird.

The family will receive friends from 1pm to 3pm on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 3pm in the funeral home chapel and will be officiated by Rev. Robert Cauble. Burial will be at the Canton Baptist Church Cemetery at 24615 Endy Road, Albemarle.

Survivors include two sons, Ricky (Stacey) Swaringen of Capistrano Beach, CA, and Jeff (Robyn) Efird of Albemarle; a daughter, Donna Smith of Albemarle; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren, and his cat, Kitty-Kitty.
