Kelly Clevenger

Kelly Horn Clevenger, 42, of Concord, N.C.  was called home to be with her Heavenly Father Tuesday, February 19, 2019.   Kelly was born July 13, 1976 in Charleston, West Virginia.   Kelly was a resident of Concord, NC.   She was married to John Clevenger and has two sons, Sam 16 and Parker 10.   Kelly worked at Concord First Assembly Christian School as a school nurse.  She also served as a Registered Nurse in the hospital setting at Carolinas Healthcare System Northeast.  Kelly was a gentle spirit and loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband John Clevenger, two sons Samuel Clevenger and Parker Clevenger.  Parents, Karen and David Byers.  Sister, Kristin Alexander and husband Joey Alexander, with niece Vivian.  Grandmother Lou Perry.  In-laws Mike and Penny Clevenger.  Sister-in-law Myra Batten and husband Joe, with nieces and nephews David, Catherine, and Will. Trusted friends and family in Christ, Jodia Slater with son Avery, and Pixie Bright. She is preceded in death by her birth father, Mark Horn.
Family will receive friends Sunday, February 24 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord, N.C. (460 Branchview Dr.) from 2pm-5pm
Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 25 at The Refuge Church in Kannapolis, N.C. (230 Refuge Way) at 4pm.  There is a 3:30 pm viewing available if you wish.
Burial will be private family service.
