Kelly Howard

Kelly Laythene Hinson Howard, 78 years of age of Locust, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe. Mrs. Howard was born March 4, 1934 in Cabarrus County to the late Claude Jackson Hinson and Martha Berline Watkins Hinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Perry Howard. The graveside service for Mrs. Howard will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 20 at Stanly Gardens in Albemarle. Survivors include her daughter, Pat Poplin and her husband, Scott of Locust; her granddaughter, Tanya Little of Indianapolis, Ind.; and her brother, C. J. Hinson of Stanfield.
