Kenneth Wayne Coleman, 50 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System Union in Monroe.
Wayne was born June 10, 1966 in Charleston, SC, to Kenneth Charles Coleman and Anne Hempton Thurston.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Berea Baptist Church in Stanfield. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary and will be officiated by Rev. Jody Wetta and Rev. Terry Seamon. Burial will follow in the Berea Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include daughter, Elana (Dustin Furr) Coleman of Stanfield; son, Chase Coleman of Stanfield; father, Ken (Sue) Coleman of Stanfield; mother, Anne (Dr. Thomas) Thurston of Salisbury; brother, Jeff (Connie) Coleman of Richburg, SC; brother, Kevin Coleman of Wasilla, AK; four grandchildren, Taryn, Kaylin, and Brayden Furr, and Houston Coleman; former wife and friend, Sherri Page of Midland.
