Kenneth Reid Creech

Mr. Kenneth Reid Creech, of Stanfield NC, formerly of Pineville, NC passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024 at the age of 71.

Ken was born in Hopewell, VA on January 11, 1953. He was the son of the late Clifton Mitchell Creech, Sr. and Thelma Louise Fouts Creech. Ken retired from the Celanese Corporation after 37 years of service. He was an avid cook and baker and enjoyed preparing homemade meals for his family every Sunday. Ken loved listening to Bluegrass music and visiting the family’s cabin in the mountains, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Robbin Roberts Creech; his daughters, Kimberly Yow and her husband, Bradley of Stanfield, NC, Amber Blackmon and her husband, Bryan of Lancaster, SC; his brother, Gary Creech and his fiancé, Sherry of Lancaster, SC; his niece, Stephanie Catoe and her husband, Kenny of Lancaster, SC; three grandchildren, Lauren Yow, Landon Yow and Morgan Blackmon.

The family will hold a private celebration of life.
