Kenneth Huneycutt

Kenneth Lee Huneycutt, age 70, of Mt. Pleasant, NC passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Stanly Regional Medical Center, Albemarle. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm. The memorial service will be on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel. Dr. Larry Patton will officiate and burial will be in Stanly Gardens of Memory. Military honors will be conducted by Stanly County DAV, Chapter 12. At other times the family will meet at his home. Born, December 30, 1941 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of the late Roy Lee Huneycutt and Lillie Gertrude Talbert Huneycutt of Albemarle. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Katie Belle Paige Huneycutt of the home; son, Karsten Huneycutt of Durham; daughter, Korena Huneycutt of Concord; and brothers, Roy Huneycutt, Jr. of Locust and David Huneycutt of Salisbury. He was retired from the City of Concord Utilities and served in the US Army, volunteering for a tour of duty in Vietnam.
