Kenneth Ray Krimminger

Kenneth Ray Krimminger, 82, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024 at Woodhaven Court in Albemarle.

Kenneth was born May 31, 1942 in North Carolina to the late Franklin Ray Krimminger and the late Ida Autry Krimminger. He was also preceded in death by his wife Reba Krimminger; brothers, Don, Louis, Carrol, and Billy Krimminger; and sister, Aleece Barbee.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm, Friday, November 29, 2024 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. A graveside service will be on Friday at 1:00 pm at Smith Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Oakboro officiated by Pastor Steve Barbee. The graveside is located at 25711 Old School Road, Oakboro.

Kenneth was a loving and a wonderful father and grandfather. He was an avid reader and could go through a whole box of books in several days and he also enjoyed watching NASCAR. In his younger years, he was a carpenter and built many houses. Some of his favorite pastimes was spent going to state sales and auctions, but his most cherished moments were the times he got to spend with his wife and his family. Kenneth loved the Lord with all his heart and he now rests in the arms of his Lord and Savior.

Survivors include son, Timothy Ray Krimminger of Oakboro, NC.; daughter, Angie (Casey) Kay Gardener of Monroe, NC.; granddaughter; Cassidy Gardener of Monroe, NC.; nephew, Randy (Paula M.) L. Huneycutt of Oakboro, NC.

Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to West Oakboro Baptist Church.
