Kenneth Morgan, Sr

Kenneth Bowers Morgan, Sr., 81 of Oakboro, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord.

Mr. Morgan, was born March 27, 1933 in Oakboro, NC to the late Dewel Cletus Morgan and the late Virginia Bowers Morgan.

Ken graduated from Ridgecrest High School in 1951. He married the late Jewell Almond in 1952, and they made their home in
Oakboro, NC.

A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 2 until 4 pm.

Survivors include one son, Kenneth Morgan, Jr.of Charlotte; three grandchildren, and one sister, Annette Morton

In Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Cancer Society 1901 Brunswick Ave. Suite 100 Charlotte, NC 28207.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Morgan family.
