Kenneth Starnes

Kenneth Wayne Starnes, 79, of Concord, passed away on June 23, 2021 in Pineville, NC.

He was born on July 4, 1941 to James and Bessie (Maness) Starnes in Robins, NC. Kenneth retired from Hoechst Celanese where he worked in Maintenance for many years in which he thoroughly enjoyed.
He was known for having a big heart and for being loving, generous, and kind. Kenneth will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Kenneth is survived by his loving sister, Esther Whatley of Concord, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was preceded in death by father, James Arthur Starnes Sr, mother, Bessie Lee Starnes, brother, James Arthur Starnes , Jr., sister, Shirley Starnes Lefler, sister, Peggy Starnes Helmes.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021, 11:00 am - 11:45 am at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, 12:00 pm at the Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, Concord, NC, with Rev Phillip Murph, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Rocky River Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
