Kenneth Teeter

Kenneth Lee Teeter, 84 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Kenneth was born October 24, 1930 in Stanly County to the late Irenus Lee Teeter and the late Ollie Bell Austin Teeter. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn Teeter and Carol Teeter.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Friday, May 8, 2015, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 3:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Oakboro, officiated by Dr. Wayne Bennett and Dr. Phillip Hunter. There will be a thirty minute state prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 17236 Frog Pond Road, Oakboro.

Survivors include wife of 65 years, Helen Speight Teeter of Albemarle; sons, Kent Teeter of Hendersonville, and Michael (Janet) Teeter of Albemarle; daughter, Treva Teeter (Tim) Allmon of Albemarle; grandchildren, Angela (David) Smith, Amy (Gary) McNeill, Melia (Hunter) Austin and Andrew Allmon; and seven great grandchildren,.
