Kenneth Hartsell

Kenneth Wayne Hartsell, 78, of Midland, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021.

Ken was born October 20, 1943 in North Carolina to the late Earl Thomas Hartsell and the late Cora Wallena Efird Hartsell.
He was also preceded in death by wife, Brenda Elizabeth Hartsell, and brothers, Bobby Earl Hartsell and Billy Joel Hartsell.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:45 pm, Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Clear Creek Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Clear Creek Baptist Church in Charlotte officiated by Rev. Brandon Mullis, Rev. Homer Murdock and Rev. Hank Parker. Burial will follow at the Clear Creek Church Cemetery at 9015 Ferguson Rd., Charlotte NC 28227.

Survivors include sons, Phillip (Candice Hartis) Hartsell of Oakboro, NC and Kenny Hartsell of SC, daughters, Stacy (Dan) Troutman of Mount Pleasant, NC, and Pebbles (Keith) Faircloth of Wingate, NC; grandchildren, Heather, Cody, Dustin, Brandon, Trey, and Kadi; great-grandchildren, Evan, Zoey, Elijah, Lillian, and Abigail; sisters, Janette (Rob) Kiker and Kay (Richard) Tucker; and his furry companion, Kirby.

Ken loved playing golf and most importantly spending time with his family. He loved to play music and sing for the Lord at his church. Ken will be remembered for his love for the Lord, his love for his late wife, Brenda, his love for his family including his dog, Kirby.
